Hello World!

My name is Arjun Bery and I am the Backend Software Engineering Manager at PetSafe Brands (previously Radio Systems Corporation), the world leader in pet products with Pet Safe®, Sport DOG® and Invisible Fence®. As the Backend Software Engineering Manager I am responsible for managing the team that develops and supports our line of connected pet products. We develop and support a wide range of products from automated feeders to litter boxes. We have a goal to help over 21 million pets, people, and communities around the world annually.

Prior to joining PetSafe Brands, I spent six amazing years at Malibu Boats, where I oversaw the Application Development department and built a division that supported 13 facilities and numerous departments. My team consisted of nearly 30 in-house and contract developers, and together, we built, maintained, and supported nearly 50 distinct applications. In addition, I was responsible for developing and implementing the strategy around our company’s coding standards and architecture.

I am a passionate technologist with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams and I am a strong believer in servant leadership that strives to create an environment where my team can thrive.

At the end of the day, it boils down to the fact that I love programming for both computers and communities!
